Newcastle Armature Winders is a private company situated at 2 Kirkland Street, Newcastle. & was established in 1992. The experience that the company has built over the years with various projects has enabled our staff to competently perform specialized projects.
Newcastle Armature Winders has a proud record of excellent pricing and work performance, and we strive for perfection in our work and implement improvements as and when needed.
We have experience and facilities to do any type of armature winding and/or electrical work that may be required. Our experience extends to the repair of AC and DC motors, transformers, submersible as well as centrifugal Pumps, thrusters, and electromagnets.
Newcastle Armature Winders can handle from 0,25Kw (220V) to 750Kw (6,600V) motors 1400Kw (6,600V) motors and 11Kv-525V, 4400Kva transformers and many more.
Newcastle Armature Winders can supply flow/head readings on all pumps we repair. This service has been made available to Government departments, major factories and municipalities. The company is competent to perform tasks (breakdowns) from our workshop or on site, when equipment can’t be brought to the Newcastle Armature Winders workshop.
We are registered with all the relevant Government Departments as well as the SABS for non-sparking and flame proof motors. We are also registered with the Electrical Contracting Board. Newcastle Armature Winders Policy adheres strictly to the Occupational Health and Safety practices. Newcastle Armature Winders is also proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
Our well equipped 2400m² premises is divided into a workshop, offices, stores, spray booth and ablutions for both males and females. Our workshop has all the equipment required to operate a successful armature winding and electrical contracting business. We have the full backing from major firms for specialized work, for example VPI, balancing of motors, etc. The workshop is located centrally in Newcastle and is in close proximity of our suppliers, e.g. Voltex, Index electrical and Bearings International.
